I’m a big quotes person. The journalist in me looks for significant quotes everywhere, from interviews and blogs to TV shows and sermons. This quote struck me during church on Sunday:

“A big dream without a small start is just a big dream.”

We spend so much of our lives waiting on our big dreams. We wait to be loved, we wait for doors to open, we wait to see if the world will change on its own. What if we continued to dream big dreams, but were also proactive? What if we paired our dreaming with conscious steps that will ultimately move us toward our end goals? I believe that the world will change when we all take on a bit more responsibility.
